There are 10 children in this room supported by a qualified teacher and NVQ3 qualified member of staff. Children are taught following the Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum which includes number recognition and phonics. At Baby Room the children in this class keep a journal and have a book bag to take home.

At Baby Room we rarely attract parents from outside the local school catchment area so it is a nice feature of our nurseries that the children in the Purple room are often with the same children who will go on to be in their class at school.
